On October 25, 2017, in Austin, Texas, the NXP Foundation will proudly launch the inaugural Women’s STEM Leadership Forum to honor the best and brightest young women and their academic and innovative achievements. In addition to an exceptional line-up of speakers and panel discussions, the Forum will offer attendees an extraordinary opportunity for professional interface and dialogue with some of industry’s top female technology leaders. As the capstone to this event, the NXP Foundation will recognize ten outstanding students with the Women’s STEM Student Achievement Award, which carries a cash prize ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 and prestigious recognition of achievement, imagination, and commitment to making a difference in the world.
During the Forum, the NXP Foundation will also honor global leadership and inspiration at the highest level with the presentation of the NXP Foundation Women's STEM Leadership Prize, awarded to women whose talent, commitment, and innovation have inspired the world on a global scale. The recipients of the NXP Foundation Prize (women who have earned the highest level of achievement and recognition in their fields) will share their insights at very special panel events throughout the afternoon.
The NXP Foundation Women's STEM Leadership Forum precedes the Society of Women Engineers Annual Conference, WE17, which will be held from October 26-28, 2017, also in Austin.
